Bud and I want you to know how pleased we are that you’ve stopped by our website and have tuned into this—our first blog entry.

Over the years, we've developed scores of ideas, workshops, and consulting designs, several book chapters, and three books. Through it all, we seem to have specialized in the perennial and essential human issues that surface at work when people come together to make something happen: trust, fear, hope, risk, commitment, energy, resistance, leadership, choice, engagement, and challenge. To name just a few.

In this blog we plan to explore this territory, posting an entry at least twice a month on Mondays. Written primarily for organizational leaders and consultants, we'll offer ideas, put forth observations, make suggestions, and ask questions. We hope you'll find all this intriguing, useful, and worthy of comment. We promise to respond to your comments so that some form of dialogue can happen. Our next blog entry will link past and very current work: how fears of workplace reprisals—so prevalent in this economy—can be addressed by leaders who understand how a group can be used to nurture energy, connection, hope, and positive change. And, at the same time produce extraordinary tangible results.

We hope you'll stay tuned.
